Peacock and Sons, London, 1802 Volume I, title page〕 It was six very small volumes in a choice of 16mo or 24mo (5 3/8" tall), six individual tiny volumes, or six volumes in three as follows: Volume I: b&w frontis of 213pp; Volume II: 189pp; Volume III: 238pp. An encyclopedia which begins with "Abbe, a French word literally meaning an abbot" and ends with "Zootomy, the art or act of dissecting animals or living creatures."〔''Kendal's Pocket Encyclopedia'', W.
